UN-CONVENTION MANCHESTER
We are delighted to announce that this year’s Un-Convention Manchester will take place on the 20th and 21st November 2025.
Un-Convention is an annual music conference and showcase which brings together artists and music industry professionals from over 50 towns and cities across the UK.
Our 114th music conference and showcase will once again see hundreds of pioneering artists, managers, labels, promoters, and festivals coming together to explore the current state of the sector, build networks, and to develop ideas and actions for a more prosperous, diverse, and equitable music industry.
We will also be showcasing some of the finest new music from across the UK.
Band on the Wall will act as the hub for this year’s event, which will also include a number of other venues and spaces in Manchester’s Northern Quarter.

For the last seventeen years Un-Convention has been providing a platform for the makers and champions of independent music to meet, network, and develop new ways of working. If you're involved in independent music, then we do hope you can join us in Manchester this November.
A limited number of discounted early bird tickets are currently available for £45 plus booking fee here:

In addition, we are excited to say that this year’s Un-Convention is also taking place in collaboration with the PPL, who will be bringing their Annual Performer Meeting to Manchester for the first time, on Wednesday 19th November (with more details to follow)
And on Saturday the 22nd of November, for the second consecutive year we are delighted to be working with the Pathways into Music Foundation to deliver the MIME conference.
The Music Industry + Music Education Conference brings together people working in music education with employers, entrepreneurs and business leaders from across the music industry to discuss the best ways to support future music talent, both on-stage and behind the scenes.
This full-day event will discuss the knowledge and support young people need to pursue a career in music, and how educators can deliver it. It will also put the spotlight on interns and mentors, work placements and apprenticeships.
Details of the MIME conference can be found at here.
An allocation of free MIME conference tickets is available to delegates attending this year's Un Convention. After purchasing an Un-Convention pass, we will be in touch with details of how you can claim your free MIME ticket.
It all promises to be an incredible few days of new ideas and connections for anyone working in the independent music sector.
