










UN-CONVENTION MANCHESTER
This year’s Un-Convention music industry conference and showcase takes place in Manchester on Thursday the 20th and Friday the 21st November. W
Un-Convention will once again see hundreds of pioneering artists, managers, labels, promoters, and festivals coming together to explore the current state of the sector, build networks, and to develop ideas and actions for a more prosperous, diverse, and equitable music industry.

We also have two evenings of incredible showcases. On the Wednesday evening, prior to the start of the conference, we have partnered with the PPL and PRS Foundation for a very special showcase at Band on the Wall, featuring Antony Szmierek, Ellur and Astles.
Then on the Thursday evening, at the Night & Day Cafe we have Porij, Freak Slug and Yaang performing live. O
The conference is taking place at Band on the Wall, in Manchester’s Northern Quarter.
For the last seventeen years Un-Convention has been providing a platform for the makers and champions of independent music to meet, network, and develop new ways of working. If you're involved in independent music, then we do hope you can join us in Manchester this November.

In addition to the main Un-Convention conference, on Saturday the 22nd of November, for the second consecutive yea,r we are delighted to be working with the Pathways into Music Foundation to deliver the MIME conference.
The Music Industry + Music Education Conference brings together people working in music education with employers, entrepreneurs and business leaders from across the music industry to discuss the best ways to support future music talent, both on-stage and behind the scenes.
This full-day event will discuss the knowledge and support young people need to pursue a career in music, and how educators can deliver it. It will also put the spotlight on interns and mentors, work placements and apprenticeships.
