Andy started DJ’ing as a resident at C’mon Feet... A club night set up with friends in December 2000 at Deluxe Bar in Manchester. Starting as an eclectic, free monthly Sunday bar session, the night was a success, and built a regular following.

C’mon Feet moved to Night & Day in September 2001, and set its stall out as a Hip Hop monthly. Guests who passed through included the likes of: Task Force, Rodney P, Jehst, Shortee Blitz, Klashnekoff, Aspects, Master Ace and Tommy Evans.

In October 2003, C’mon Feet moved to a larger venue Band on the Wall. During this time, I DJ’d alongside: J-Zone, D-Styles, Ricci Rucker, Prince Paul, Woody, Ritchie Ruftone, the P Brothers, and DJ MK, amongst others.

After Band on the Wall's closure and a short break for C'mon Feet, the night restarted in October 2005 at Mint Lounge, and guests who passed through included: Craig G, Wordsworth, Punchline, Pumpkinhead, DJ Blakey, Genesis Elijah, Wordsmith Yungun & Mr Thing and the Dirty Diggers.

Following on from the success of Andy’s residency at C'mon Feet, offers came along from Sankey Soap, to DJ alongside DJ Dopey, Q-Bert, Roni Size, Rahzel, Bugz in the Attic, the Scratch Perverts and the X-ecutioners as a resident DJ at a night called ‘Ape’. Also, Andy has had guest DJ slots at clubs and nights such as Electric Chair in Manchester, and the Tuesday Club, The Plug and Urban Gorilla in Sheffield.

Andy has enjoyed support DJ slots alongside The Game, De La Soul (two dates on the 20th Anniversary of Three Feet High and Rising tour), The Warehouse project on the nights Mos Def and Dizzee Rascal played, and also Pete Rock, Roy Ayers, Yelawolf, The Rza and more.

Andy reviewed Hip Hop music for Fat City Records, freelancing for the store for three years prior to it closing, and co-hosted a weekly radio show (The C'mon Feet Elements show) on Unity Radio 92.8FM.

Andy currently hosts a podcast that can be found on Mixcloud and has a number of interesting DJ gigs coming up around the City.
